ERIC L. KERLEY, PHD, MD
Doctor
Eric L Kerley, PhD, MD is originally from Orlando, Florida where he attended Rollins College for an undergraduate degree in Chemistry. He went on to Texas A&M University where he earned a doctorate in Analytical Chemistry. After several years of working as a scientist in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he enrolled in the East Tennessee State University James H Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee where he earned his medical degree. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the Orlando Regional Healthcare System and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children.
Dr Kerley began practice in Morristown, Tennessee working in both outpatient and hospital-based practice. Over the next few years, he worked in Tennessee, Alaska, Oregon, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and South Carolina in inpatient medicine. He has directed two programs and served as Chief of Medicine at LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tennessee. Currently, he works as a hospitalist for Prismahealth.
He provided medical services to peoples of the Maasai tribe near Nairobi, Kenya and medical relief in Port au Prince, Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. In his free time, he attempts to play golf, tackles way too many household projects, and paddleboards very badly—which amuses his wife immensely.
MIRANDA SANDERS KERLEY
Nurse Practitioner
Miranda Sanders Kerley is a Nurse Practitioner at K & M Care who partners with Dr. Eric Kerley. She originally attended Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, SC, where she received an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. Miranda then pursued her interest in nursing from University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working in the emergency room in Charleston, SC, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing in family medicine.
Miranda is a Board-Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and licensed in South Carolina. She is a certified medical examiner for DOT while also being certified for Botox and fillers. She has worked primarily in emergency settings and began working as a nurse in 2011. She is involved in the entire continuum of care of her patients, and you will see her in the office. 'As a family nurse practitioner, I have been trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. That means I can assess, diagnose, and treat most conditions that present to the office.”
Miranda is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners; Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing; and was inducted into Gamma Beta Phi National Honor Society.
Miranda and her husband Dr. Kerley, reside in Summerton. She enjoys reading, spending time with family, spoiling her three boxers, and traveling to new places.
DANIELLE SANDERS
Office Manager
Danielle Sanders is the Office Manager at K & M Care. She has a background in legal and accounting work. She studied at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC where she earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science in 2011, Certificate in Microcomputer Business Applications in 2014, and a Certificate in Bookkeeping in 2014. Over the past ten years, she has held several positions in accounting and as a paralegal.
Danielle attends First Baptist Church in Manning, where she serves on several committees and is active in her choir. She volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem, which allows her extensive training in dealing with a variety of situations. She enjoys spending time with her family.
